If you want us to look at your modelBefore you
e-mail the model (.MPM) file to us open it and check the gray status bar at the
bottom of the window. If it says
‘Calcs’ in the center you have saved the results of the last calculation and
the file may be too big to e-mail. To
delete the results press the F2 key then the Enter key – the status bar should
change to ‘NoCalcs’. Save the
model. Now attach
the .MPM file to your e-mail. If you want us to look at the numbers on a
report E-mail the model (.MPM) file as described above and also the report definition (.MPR) file for the report. Also tell us in the e-mail what report periods to look at. If the model file is too big to e-mail Many e-mail systems will not accept file much bigger than 1 megabyte (1MB) If the model file is bigger than 1MB even after you have ensured that the results of the last calculation are not saved you can either to compress it before you send it to us or set up Outlook Express to send the file in pieces. Compressing a file If you don't have a compression utility such as WinZip you can download an evaluation version of WinZip from www.winzip.com . E-Mailing a file in pieces To set up Outlook Express to send an attached file in pieces go into Tools/Accounts, click the Properties button and then the Advanced tab. Check the box that says "Break apart messages larger than", set the maximum size to 1000 KB, then click OK and Close. Large files attached to e-mails will be split into 1MB segments, sent separately and automatically re-assembled in the receivers Inbox.
